Thank you for the recipe for the polpettone – I made it this afternoon for my husband and my grandson and it was a big hit — we will be having wonderful sandwiches for lunch at work tomorrow, too Grazie mille!.
...and a warm thanks too all of you who take the time to drop us a quick note about our recipes.
In the works is a new risotto dish, and a traditional tuscan bread soup ‘ribollita’, which has been requested by a couple people recently. We cooked ribollita last weekend and it came out great, next time it’s made we’ll turn it into a Mestolando how-to recipe.

I discovered your site tonight and absolutely fell in love with all the recipes! My family is originally from the northern part of the country in a little town called Rugolo and many of the recipes remind me of what my grandmother used to make. Thank you again for sharing!!
